As we begin our 31 Days of Service, the best place to start may be to answer the question: How did Jesus serve those around him?
Pick one of the four gospels and spend some time everyday this month reading through it. Grab a journal and pen so that as you read, you can jot down notes and reminders when you come across passages that describe Jesus’ service and interaction with others, especially those who did not know God.
Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant … just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Matthew 20.26, 28)

We encourage you to return daily for more opportunities to serve others during these 31 Days of Service. We also encourage you to share your own ideas of service as well as the times of service you and your family perform. You can use the comment section below or tag us in social media using: #sp31days
